This groundbreaking IR lens serves as an alternative to traditional expensive diamond-cut IR lenses (Si, Ge) and features enhanced thermal properties. In particular, the high-sensitivity type with a long focal length is expected to be applied in sensors. For example, it can be used in vehicles to enhance vision for autonomous driving, as well as in thermal detection cameras and thermal imaging devices.
